ZAN DRIVE CAR HIRE AND TAXI SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Zan Drive Car Hire and Taxi Services provides you with a wide range of choice of their vehicles according to status and type of activities. There are five door automatic or manual: off road four wheel driving car.

Drivers Licence
The most important document on the road while driving often asked by Police check points.

Payment:
We accept following CASH in US DOLLAR or TANZANIAN SHILLINGS ONLY or otherwise ATM Machinery works 24 hours.Both parties must respect time(duration) off times may incur out of acceptable charges due to incidentals, time handed over vehicle and time to return must go along agreed ones. On receiving the vehicle check all essentials are good and if bad must be notified to one handing over immediately before accepting the car/scooter at handing over point. Things like Power window, petrol gauge functions, necessary documents like road license, insurance, and validated date issues on permits, A/C, Tyre, Spare tires, tools underneath the vehicle are ready for use, lights are functioning, beam indicators and so forth that may cause upsets in their absence. Geeting a puncture is not including in the price.

Security:
  • The vehicle(s) must be locked when not attended.
  • The person hiring it is solely responsible for its security.
  • As a responsible person for it you must make sure it is parked in a safe and secure place like the Hotel’s parking lot.
  • Park it and notify the watchman on guard, especially during the night.
Booking:
  • Is free you do not have to pay anything at the time of making the reservation.
  • During High seasons a deposit maybe necessary to ensure you have engaged the car or else the principle of current readiness will apply.
  • We also prioritize in normal times to pay the required payment when taking possession of the car.
  • Cash payments are preferably paid in Shillings or Dollars.
  • Time returned is when the vehicles has thoroughly been checked and proved to be in good and safe condition.
  • As per quest(client) requests vehicles may be returned at any designated point e.g Airport, harbor(Sea Port)

INSURANCE

All our vehicles are insured

ZAN DRIVE CAR HIRE AND TAXI/TRANSFERS SERVICES RENTAL AGREEMENT

  • In case of extra time the person who has rented (client/rentree) will have to inform the office please.
  • The vehicle must driven by the rentree or the authorized person and not any other person.
  • The vehicle is not allowed to be driven in the sea shore or beach side.
  • The responsibility and security of the vehicle will be upon the person (client/r entree) as per period agreed with the renter.
  • If the Client/renter) breaks the contract He or she will be required to pay 50% of the agreed total costs.
  • The company can break the contract at anytime if it is proved that the renter is not keeping the vehicle in good condition such as by careless driving and other intentional damage
  • Should have driving-license from their country classes matches and Authorization by Ministry of Transport & communications.
  • Will will bring vehicle will a little fuel to reach any designeted place or hotel.
  • From further beach side 2 our driving reach hotel east cost or north cost beach your vehicle you'll pay 20 dollars for deliver.
  • Mechanical failure is our responsibility.
  • 24 hours for working 7 day week or any problem call us Troubleshooting.

Insurance and what it Covers

  • All accidents that involves the destruction of the car such as road accidents and fire accidents
  • The incurred cost in the accident must range from which is equal to $100 or $200 scratches to much or broke mirror or stolen power window you have to compensate accordingly.
  • All cars full insurance coverage.

Drivers License:

Third party liability is equivalent to the amount stipulated by Icelandic law at each time. This also applies to the amount of individual driver liability. Third-party coverage and personal accident insurance is included in your rental.

 

River Crossing Protection

This insurance only applies to 4×4 cars that are allowed by Lotus Car Rental to drive on F-roads. The river crossing insurance covers all water damages, damages to the engine, transmission, radiator. Deductible: 0 ISK

Damages Not covered by any Insurance

Intentional damages or damages due to gross negligence on the part of the driver. Damages resulting from the driver being under the influence of alcohol. Damages due to race or test driving. Holes burned into seats, carpets, or mats. Damages resulting from driving in places where vehicle traffic is prohibited. Lost car keys and pumping wrong fuel to the car. The car battery. Breakdown Services:

  • In case of extra time the person who has rented (client/rentree) will must have to pay $5 minimum 3 hours late return on timeas we deal agreement term (as penalt) extra hour additional.
  • Any carelessness done which lead for any breakdown the customer have to pay for all the expenses
  • When a customer faces any difficulty or misunderstanding with the police she/he has to report to the company immediately.
  • Zan Drive Car Hire and Taxi Services: Demand its customers to follow all road safety rules to avoid any inconvenient, among them are
  • Avoid driving while you are drunk.
  • Wear a seatbelt while driving
  • Avoid unwanted speed minimum 60 speed high way and rural area village that is protocol of rule of Goverment policies of Zanzibar.
  • The person hiring it is solely responsible for its security resposibility renters during the duration period not other person unthorized.
